To serve the Charlotte area as well as North and South Carolina Myosho-ji was established in August 2007. Myosho-ji translates from Japanese as Wonderful Voice, with an implication of continuous chanting and spreading the Buddha Dharma.
Myosho-ji serves as the home for members in the area who wish to practice and learn the teachings of the Eternal Buddha Shakamuni through practicing and studying the Lotus Sutra.
We welcome guests anytime. If you are interested in just experiencing a Buddhist service or if your interests lie in pursuing a deeper understanding of Buddhism please feel free to join us. We welcome any and all.
Rev. Ryusho Jeffus is the resident minister and is available most afternoons for appointment.

Temple Library contains over 175 books on subjects dealing primarily with Buddhism but also other religions of the world. These books are available for use at the temple.
